Toddlers Room: this room is designed for a more structured environment
- The room is designed with different areas of interest to aid children with their imagination and communication skills. These include home corner, construction corner, dressing up area, shop and book corners.
- A Programme of Care is on display in the room which shows activities designed to help develop physical, intellectual, language, social and emotional skills.
- Small and large group activities take place to help your child to make friends.
- We place a large emphasis on play as we feel that children need time for this and it is the way in which they learn about the environment, ideas, themselves and others.
- We also work with you to toilet-train your child when you decide the time is right.
- A separate nappy changing area is provided as well as a toilet to encourage toilet training.
- We provide a separate sleep room where children can take time out for a nap.
